This policy explains how Store of Apps ("we") handles your data when you use this website (storeofapps.com) and the apps we publish. We collect as little as possible, and we keep processing on your device wherever we can.
1. Who we are
Store of Apps is an independent app development studio and is the party responsible for the processing described here. Contact: contact@storeofapps.com.
2. What we collect
On the website
- Aggregate usage data: pages visited, time on page, browser and device type, and approximate country. Collected statistically through analytics tools and not used to identify you.
- What you send us voluntarily: your name, email address and message when you contact us. The contact form on this site sends nothing to a server; it opens your own mail client.
- Cookies: described in our Cookie Policy.
In the apps
- Most of our apps work without an account and without a connection, storing your data (progress, settings, files) on your device only.
- We may use crash reporting and analytics tools to find bugs. Those reports reach us anonymised.
- Apps that show ads or offer in-app purchases rely on the store's services (Google Play, AppGallery or Amazon), and that processing is governed by those companies' policies.
What we never collect: no national ID numbers, no payment card details (payments happen inside the store and we never see them), no access to your contacts or messages, and no background location tracking.
3. Why we use this data
- To run the site and apps and fix faults.
- To understand which content is useful, statistically rather than individually.
- To answer your messages and provide support.
- To meet legal obligations where they apply.
We do not sell, rent or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Advertising and third parties
This site may display ads through Google AdSense. In that case:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this site or other sites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings or at www.aboutads.info.
- Other third-party advertisers may use their own cookies or web beacons. We neither control these technologies nor have access to the data they collect.
We also use analytics tools to measure traffic. Data handled by those tools is subject to their providers' policies.
5. Legal basis for processing
We rely on your consent (non-essential cookies and personalised advertising), our legitimate interest (site security and statistical performance measurement), and performance of the service (running the app features you asked for).
6. Your rights
Under applicable law — including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) — you have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you and request a copy.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information — which we do not do in any case.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@storeofapps.com. We respond within 30 days at the latest.
7. Retention
We keep support emails for as long as they're needed to answer you and to maintain a support history, and aggregate analytics data for the limited periods set by the provider. Data stored on your device stays under your control: deleting the app or clearing your browser data removes it permanently.
8. Children's privacy
Our services are not designed to collect data from children. Our apps aimed at children require no account, no name and no email address, and store progress on the device. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it immediately.
9. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and minimising what is collected in the first place. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Some data may be processed on service providers' servers outside your country. We work with providers that commit to appropriate legal safeguards for such transfers.
11. External links
This site links to sites we don't operate, including store listings. We're not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend reviewing their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the new version.
