Privacy Policy for Wordiz

Effective date: July 8, 2026  ·  Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Store of Apps (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the developer of the mobile application Wordiz (the “App”), handles information in connection with your use of the App. By downloading or using Wordiz, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

Wordiz is a word game that works primarily offline. We do not operate our own servers and do not collect or store your personal data ourselves. Most data the App uses is stored locally on your device. The App does, however, show advertisements using Google AdMob, and it relies on certain Google services — Google Play Billing (for purchases) and Google Play Games Services (for leaderboards and achievements). These services are operated by Google under Google’s own privacy policy and may collect certain information, including an advertising identifier, as described below. Users who complete the in-app purchase play without ads.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays ads through Google AdMob, a Google advertising service. To serve ads (including limited personalization and frequency capping) and to measure ad performance and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and process certain information, including:

This data is collected and used by Google, not by us; we do not receive your Advertising ID or build advertising profiles ourselves. Ad types shown may include banner ads, full-screen interstitial ads, and optional rewarded ads that you choose to watch in exchange for in-game rewards. Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy and its policies for advertising. For more information on how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings (for example, on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads), where you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of personalized advertising.

If you complete the one-time in-app purchase (Premium), all advertisements are removed from the App.

3. Information We Do Not Collect Ourselves

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, or contacts on our own servers. We do not operate our own analytics servers or databases that store your information. Data described in this policy is collected by Google’s services (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Games Services), not by us directly.

4. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide gameplay features, the App stores certain data locally on your device (in the App’s on-device storage). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. It includes:

You can remove this data at any time by clearing the App’s storage/data in your device settings, or by uninstalling the App. Uninstalling the App deletes the locally stored data from your device.

5. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase to unlock additional content and remove ads. All payments are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, receive, or have access to your payment card details. Your purchase and any related information are handled by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service. The App only receives confirmation of whether the purchase was completed, in order to unlock the corresponding content and disable ads.

6. Google Play Games Services (Optional)

The App offers optional leaderboards and achievements through Google Play Games Services. If you sign in (or are automatically signed in) to Google Play Games, your scores and achievements may be submitted to and stored by Google and associated with your Google Play Games profile. This feature is operated by Google, and your use of it is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. We do not receive or store your Google account credentials. If you do not sign in to Google Play Games, the App remains fully playable and no score or achievement data is sent.

7. Permissions

The App may request the following Android permissions:

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following services provided by Google. The way these services handle data is governed by their own privacy policies:

We encourage you to review Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

9. How Information Is Used

Locally stored data is used solely to operate the game on your device — to track your progress, scores, streaks, settings, tokens, and unlocked content. Data collected by Google’s services is used to display and measure advertisements, to process purchases, and to provide leaderboards and achievements, as described in this policy.

10. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not receive your personal data to share. Data flows described in this policy are between you and Google’s services (AdMob, Play Billing, Play Games Services). Google may use advertising-related data as an independent service provider in accordance with its policies.

11. Data Retention

Locally stored game data is retained on your device until you clear the App’s data or uninstall the App. Data held by Google (such as advertising data, purchase records, and Google Play Games scores and achievements) is retained by Google in accordance with Google’s policies.

12. Children’s Privacy

Wordiz is a word and vocabulary game suitable for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Please note that advertisements served by Google AdMob may collect data as described above; if the App is used by a child, we recommend that a parent or guardian review this policy and Google’s privacy controls. If you believe that a child has provided personal information through a service used by the App, please contact us and/or Google so that appropriate action can be taken. We comply with applicable laws regarding children’s privacy.

13. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (for example, under the EU’s GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights regarding your personal data. Because we do not collect personal data on our own servers, the data the App stores is kept locally and remains under your control — you can remove it at any time by clearing the App’s data or uninstalling it. For data collected by Google through AdMob, Google Play Billing, or Google Play Games Services, please use Google’s privacy controls (including the Advertising ID controls in your device settings) and refer to Google’s Privacy Policy.

14. Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information. Data stored on your device is protected by your device’s own security. Advertising, purchases, and Google Play Games data are protected by Google’s infrastructure. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

15. International Users

The App may be used worldwide. Where Google services are used, your data may be processed by Google in accordance with Google’s policies, which may involve the transfer of information across national borders.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and post the updated policy at the same URL. Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.

17. Contact Us
